I am a registered counselor with the Malaysian Board of Counsellors (Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia, LKM) and I am a trilingual (English / Mandarin / Bahasa Malaysia) therapist specializing in marriage and family therapy. I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds who are experiencing anxiety, depression, complex grief, and trauma.
Life can be overwhelming at times. As a counselor, I offer a compassionate, genuine, and safe space for you to be yourself and share what is on your mind and heart. In our work together, I will assist you to gain clarity of your challenges through open communication and mutual feedback in order to help you formulate unique solutions to achieve your self-determined goals.
My counseling approach involves a blend of modalities including Accept and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, Couple therapy and Client-Centered talk therapy.
Outside of the office, I love exploring the great outdoors and reading a good book.
I am currently practicing at The Safe Harbour and Life Journey Centre, Penang.
